The Soul Ajar

In this set of diptychs I've purposely changed the reality to make room for Imagination: the hallucinatory abstractions of duality  between tragedy and peace are unfold before our eyes through the role models of these extraordinary women.

Their amazing lives teach us how beauty could be found in everything, even in the darkest moments of our lives.

The viewer is invited to expand his perspective to find the Light in the fog of trials and difficulties of everyday life, the most powerful force within ourselves, a wide sense of hope and strength, mostly hidden by kindness, resistence and sorrow.
